Danish manufacturer Jamo has announced a discreet new budget home cinema system with the A 101HCS5.

The small satellites are just 2in deep, making them ideal for wall placement next to one of today’s skinny flat screen TVs, and each includes a newly developed 3in driver.
The system also includes the dedicated A 101SUB subwoofer, which is just over 6in deep and can be hung on a wall or slid underneath TV or sofa. Despite its small dimensions it includes a 20watt amplifier and twin 8in drivers (one active, one passive).
Jamo marketing director Steen Michaelsen, said: “As the newer generation flat-panel televisions continue to take up ever diminishing space, we knew our loudspeakers had to follow suit. By offering such a small yet high-performance product, we’re able to deliver unrivalled sound from a product that integrates seamlessly into any living arrangement.”
The A 101 HCS5 5.1 home cinema system is available now in black or white for £300.
