Paradigm purpose-designs drivers for each of its speakers. The same goes for the cabinets – acoustically inert, high-density hardboard, reinforced by strategically located radial braces limiting unwanted resonances and increasing enclosure stiffness.
Products such as the Signature Series underline Paradigm’s engineering expertise. The range includes the flagship six driver, three-way floorstanding £6999 Signature 8 – which weighs a back breaking 90.7kg – along with the C5, the six driver, three and a half way centre channel, and ADP 3, a five driver, three way rear effects channel for those a wanting the full surround sound experience. Low frequencies can be obtained from the monstrous Signature SUB 25, which is powered by 3000W of Class D amplification.
Equally impressive are the company’s matching CI/pro designs such as the £999 SIG 1.5R-30 with angled drivers and pure beryllium tweeter. This is designed, as you would expect, to tonally match the rest of the Signature Series speaker line-up.
In the UK, Anthem AV Solutions, the newly appointed authorised distributor, will handle Paradigm products.
