Paradigm MilleniaOne satellite speaker system

Canadian speaker manufacturer Paradigm Electronics has launched a ‘revolutionary’ new home cinema speaker package in the shape of the MilleniaOne system.

The MilleniaOne system centres around a single speaker which can be used in either front, centre or satellite positions. The compact oval cabinet design features a uniquely shaped die-cast aluminium enclosure and ships with a small bookshelf stand.

Available in both white and black gloss finishes, the aluminium casing apparently provides ‘superior rigidity while maintaining a thinner wall and acting as a heatsink for drivers and crossover components’.

The MilleniaOne uses an S-PAL tweeter dome with silver finish to match the cone and the tweeter motor employs neodymium magnets and extruded aluminium heatsinks.

Also available is the matching MilleniaSub subwoofer. It measures 38×13×47cm, uses a dual woofer back to back bipolar design for vibration cancellation and includes a wireless receiver so there’s no need to be limited by trailing cables. You’ll need to buy paradigm’s optional PT-2 wireless transmitter to take advantage of it though.

It can be mounted to the wall with its optional wall bracket, displayed in a cradle floor stand or hidden away out of sight.

The Paradigm MilleniaOne satellite speakers are available now from distributor Anthem AV Solutions as either a 2.0 stereo pair for £499, or as a MilleniaOne 5.0 system for £1,249. A full 5.1 system including MilleniaSub subwoofer costs £2,499.
