Canadian speaker manufacturer Paradigm has announced its new Cinema range of home theatre speakers.

The new versions have been redesigned with new parts and new cabinets, as well as technology derived from the company’s Reference models.
All of the speakers include S-PAL satin-anodised aluminium dome tweeters with wire mesh guards as well as WaveGuide Technology derived from the Reference Signature series. They also have mineral-filled polypropylene mid/bass drivers, linked via crossovers which Paradigm claims are built to the same quality as those in the Reference models.
The gently curving cabinets have a high-gloss finish, and feature the company’s Easy-Glide wire channels and push-through binding posts for neat cabling, as well as EasyMount wall mounts if you prefer.
The new Cinema Sub includes a 20cm polymer-composite high-excursion driver powered by a 100-watt amp which can handle 300-watt peaks for increased dynamic range. Its design allows it to be used with either its cloth grille or the gloss panel facing the front, depending on your taste.
The range includes the Cinema 100 Satellites (£299 a pair, £429 for three), complete with wall mounts and table-top stands. The three-driver/two-way Cinema 200 LCR costs £199 for one, while the five-driver/two-and-a-half-way Cinema 400 LCR costs £349 each
The Cinema Sub is £349 and the Cinema Trio Soundbar – with seven drivers, three channels and a two-way design – is £499. A complete five-speaker Cinema 100 CT system with sub will set you back £949.
