An adaptation of the highly-successful X300A desktop speakers, the X300A wireless has all the advantages of the original X300A, with the added bonus of wireless streaming via both Airplay and DLNA from most Apple or Android devices. It uses the same KEF Award-winning Uni-Q drivers, as well as offering four dedicated amplifiers (two per speaker in this true active design), two discrete high-quality DACs and a high resolution 96kHz/24-bit distortion-free digital USB connection in wired mode.

Like a professional studio monitor, each X300A wireless speaker has two dedicated class AB amplifiers, one for LF/MF and one for HF. In this way, KEF can devise the crossover with small components and make many more fine corrections to the drivers. As each driver has its own amp, the tweeter is not affected when the woofer amp starts to reach the limit so the sound is much cleaner at high levels. Speaker hum and electromagnetic interference are minimised by using Toroidal transformers of the type specified for audiophile grade hi-fi amplifiers.
A dedicated high quality DAC in each speaker virtually eliminates interference by separating decoding from playback, allowing the X300A system to reproduce the full depth and complexity of high resolution music files to the same standard as the artist intended.
All this high end technology is complemented by the award-winning Uni-Q ‘point source’ driver array derived from KEF’s flagship speaker, the Blade.

Configuring the X300A Wireless only takes only a few minutes, as a quick and simple to use ‘setup wizard’ for both OS and Windows users is available to download from KEF.com. In addition, you can change easily from desk, free space and desk/wall modes with high quality EQ, and the sound is adjusted to be optimal whichever location the speaker is put in thanks to a simple “balance” switch.
