NuVo Technologies introduced its new Renovia multiroom audio system at this year’s CEDIA Show.

It uses a central hub with 50-watt zone amplifiers for each listening area, each connected to each other by your home’s electrical wiring system using HomePlug powerline technology.
The Renovia can include up to six sources across a maximum of eight zones, and play four sources at the same time in different locations, including internet radio and Spotify (though you’ll need a Premium subscription).
There’s also an AM/FM radio in the main hub, and a twin output DAB tuner is available as an optional extra. Other extras include iPod and iPad docking stations as well as in-wall touchpad controllers, and it can all be controlled via an iPod/iPad app.
The control hub costs £1,614 for the control hub, with an additional £474 for each zone amplifier, £2,994 for the main server and £59 for the iPod/iPad control app.
Also coming from NuVo is the Music Port Elite MPS4-E streaming device. It will store and distribute music from your PC around your home, while also streaming internet radio stations.

The system’s ‘cloud synchronisation’ feature lets you access your music from different multiple locations. Content can also be streamed from a NAS device.
The NuVo MPS4-E can work with up to four sources at the same time and comes with 640GB of internal storage.
