The system’s engine is the MM322 MediaMaster which plays Blu-ray, DVD, CD, MP3, recorded TV, radio, photos and videos. It can handle a 1080p Full HD screen or projector, as well as a multichannel amp or receiver.

It comes with a two terabyte hard drive built in, along with a pair of Freeview HD tuners with full 14-day EPG. There’s also full internet access for internet TV, YouTube, Facebook and other social media sites.

The Smart H1 client units can stream all the music and video content from the MM322 to your other rooms. They can handle Full HD video with Dolby Digital and DTS 7.1 surround sound.

The Smart H1 can also be fitted with a hard disk, allowing you to double the system’s capacity to four terabytes. Capacity can be increased still further by adding a USB hard disk or NAS drive.

Also available are the more compact Vivadi Lite client units, but they won’t stream Blu-ray material. Upgrading from a Lite to a Smart H1 will set you back £20 per room.

The system’s TCP/IP interface allows it to be controlled using Crestron, AMX, Control 4, Pronto and Opus devices, or via an iPhone/iPad app. All the client units are connected to the MM322 MediaMaster via standard Ethernet network with CAT 5 or CAT 6 cabling.

The Vivadi Family is available now for £2,999.
