The Chord Company’s latest interconnects will all come with the new VEE Plug, designed to deliver performance improvements across the range.

Inspired by the hand-turned acrylic plugs fitted to the high-end Sarum, Signature and Indigo interconnects, the new Chord VEE (Vibration Eliminating Enclosure) plug is high-pressure precision injection-moulded from ABS plastic.
Chord says the material was chosen for its “excellent” vibration damping properties. Combined with gold or silver-plated low-mass connectors insulated with Teflon, each VEE plug promises a non-compression strain relief system designed to maintain constant impedance along the cable’s length.
Alan Gibb, Chord’s Managing Director, said: “Nigel (Finn – Technical Director) has been working for a long time to develop and fine tune a plug that brings such demonstrable improvements. We are surprised and very pleased at the level of improvements in both the hi-fidelity and musicality aspects of the performance.”
Chord’s new VEE plugs are now fitted to these models: CrimsonPlus, CobraPlus, ChameleonPlus, Chorus 2, Cadenza, iChord, Codac Digital, Prodac Pro Digital
