The Chord Company’s latest analogue interconnect is the ChameleonPlus.
The new cable, housed in a brilliant blue PVC jacket, contains four identical sets of silver-plated, multi-stranded, oxygen-free copper conductors, each insulated with Teflon. Each is surrounded, damped and held with a natural fibre wrap designed to minimise mechanically induced noise.
These are then wrapped in a heavy-gauge foil shield and terminated with Chord’s own silver-plated Teflon insulated RCA plugs.
The new design replaces the Chameleon Silver Plus and the company says it should offer improved dynamics, greater detail over a wider frequency range and an extremely precise stereo image.
The Chord ChameleonPlus is available now and can be terminated with RCA or XLR plugs.
