The new projectors, due to launch at ISE 2011 next month with the Runco D-73d, use Runco’s CSV (Constant Stereoscopic Video) architecture with passive lens glasses, which promises seamless decoding, syncing and merging of stereo images and delivers a constant HD image to each eye “without flicker, distortion, or discomfort”.

Runco’s VP of Marketing Jennifer Davis said: “Runco approached 3D from both a physiological and technological perspective and the result is better than any 3D TV or 3D projection experience being sold today. Runco’s 3Dimension solution produces an incomparable 3D experience in home cinemas that surpasses the public-cinema experience.”

Also on show will be Runco’s expanded LightStyle Series, featuring two new three-chip DLP, 1080p projectors, the LS-10d and LS-10i, as well as the new ultra-thin Vistage 3D-ready flat panel displays, the V-50HD and V-63HD, that can be personalised “to reflect the style and passion of its homeowner”.
