Sony’s latest iPod dock is the RDP-X50iP.

A step down from the RDP-X80iP it loses the OLED display but offers a powerful 20W + 20W RMS digital amplifier and a brace of 76mm long-throw driver units with a twin port system and extra long duct for room-filling sound.
It has a remote but otherwise there’s little in the way of luxuries, though its minimalist design and gloss black livery should ensure it will blend it just about anywhere.
It’s been tuned specifically for the UK market, is compatible with the iPhone 3GS and all iPod models and will charge them while it plays too.
The Sony RDP-X50iP will be available later this month for £180.
