Sony has increased its Walkman range again with the launch of the NWZ-E450 MP3 players.
The new iPod nano-sized design has a 2in QVGA LCD screen, comes in 4, 8 and 16GB sizes, and is very much aimed at youth, with its range of ‘bright and cool’ colours, sing-a-long Karaoke mode and extended battery life.
The Karaoke Mode also includes Sony’s Lyric Sync just in case you don’t know the words, and the Walkman will lower the vocals to make it easier for your singing to stand out.
The E Series also has the capability to sync with iTunes and can even be used to access BBC’s iPlayer.
Also on board is an FM radio, support for MP3, WMA and AAC audio files, plus WMV, AVC and MPEG4 videos, and an impressive 50 hours of battery life.
The NWZ-E453 (4GB), NWZ-E454 (8GB) and NWZ-E455 (16GB) should be with us in September, though this being Sony, prices are yet to be confirmed.
