British DAB radio specialist Roberts’ latest music system is the SOUND 66.
The top-mounted iPod dock will also accept the iPhone and you can control either using the system’s remote control. The DAB/FM RDS radio has 20 station presets and alarm function that allows you to choose whether you wake up to radio, iPod or a buzzer. There’s a snooze function, and the ice blue display backlight can be dimmed for sleeping.
Roberts says the acoustically tuned wooden cabinet can deliver an ‘exceptional’ bass sound that can be refined by a six-position equaliser and separate bass and treble. Other features include an adjustable sleep timer, low power standby, a USB line in and a headphone socket.
The SOUND 66 is available now in black ash finish for £150.
