Roberts Sound 53 system

1 juin 2010

DAB radio manufacturer Roberts has issued an ‘aesthetic update’ to its popular Sound 53 DAB/FM/CD sound system by making it available in two new colours.

The compact system is now available in high gloss shades of Ferrari red or iPod white as well as the traditional black.

Roberts Sound 53 White

There’s an iPod dock on top of the SOUND 53’s acoustically tuned wooden cabinet and elsewhere it features a DAB/FM radio and slot-loading CD player. There’s also the option to play back tracks from a USB stick or SD memory card or even record them from the radio.

Roberts Sound 53 Red

Other features include 20 station presets, a six position equaliser with distinct bass and treble, a headphone socket and a 3.5mm jack plug for iPod/MP3 playback. There’s also a multi alarm function so you can select your wake-up method of choice: a buzzer, the radio, or music from your iPod, CD, SD card or USB stick.

The Roberts Sound 53 system is on sale now in all three finishes for £280.
