Sony DLC-HD10H & DLC-HD20H HDMI Cable

30 mars 2009

Sony is introducing a new type of HDMI cable into its existing range of Audio/Video cables. This specially designed product offers the same outstanding quality as the existing range, but brings a new level of ease and convenience to HDMI installations.

As LCD TVs become ever thinner and the trend toward wall-mounting grows, installation using conventional HDMI cables is becoming increasingly problematic. A standard cable plugged into a horizontal HDMI socket typically requires up to 7cm clearance, especially if a ferrite noise suppressor is fitted. This can make streamlined wall mounting difficult to achieve.

The new Sony DLC-HD10H (1 metre) and DLC-HD20H (2 metre) HDMI cable is the perfect solution. Its articulated connectors can rotate through 180 degrees, so you can create right angle connections in seconds, each needing just 29mm clearance.

The DLC-HD10H/DLC-HD20H cables perform to the highest technical standards:

· HDMI version 1.3a Category 2 rated for an all-digital, uncompressed A/V signal supporting 1080p or higher

· Support for up to 10.2Gbps signal bandwidth, 240Hz refresh rate and 48-bit Deep Colour

· 24 carat gold plated connectors for optimal conductivity and long life

· High quality OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) core wire for excellent signal transmission quality

· Triple shielding for a high level of protection from electro-magnetic interference

· PLAYSTATION 3 and Blu-ray Certified, compatible with BRAVIA Theatre Sync and X.V. Colour

The new cables will be available in April.
