At this years ISE Show Runco are set to show its new flat panel displays, including its exclusive Optical Path Alignment image enhancement technology, and its new in-wall projection system.
Runco’s newest 1080p LCD and plasma flat panels will according to Runco ‘deliver a masterful blend of image prowess, impeccable design and state-of-the-art craftsmanship’. The new displays to be shown at ISE provide integrators with larger screen sizes, incredibly accurate video processing.
Among the new range at the show is Runco’s new 50-inch CinemaWall XP-50HD plasma, two new Crystal Series LCDs offering new screen sizes—the 65-inch CX-65HD and 47-inch CX-OPAL47—and feature internal Vivix II processing with Runco’s RTR (Real-Time Refresh) 120Hz technology, a full connectivity suite including HDMI 1.3a with Deep Color modes, Runco’s exclusive WideVision technology with VirtualWide mode, and the ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) calibration suite.
The CX-OPAL47 also features Runco’s revolutionary new OPAL image enhancement technology, which addresses common flat-panel problems, particularly ambient light that directly competes against and degrades flat-panel images and distracts the viewer. Runco’s OPAL is the first flat panel technology that utilizes proprietary micro-visual surface treatment to provide three essential benefits to viewers who demand the best image fidelity. OPAL’s Ambient-Light Rejection technology reduces internal and surface reflections by more than 20 times. It even has OPAL’s ISS technology enhances the panel’s resistance to dust contamination, condensation and direct impact (hand-held game control), protecting the TV screen surface and making it less sensitive to daily wear and tear.

Also on display at ISE 2009 is the VideoWall VW-100HD in-wall projection video display system, which represents an entirely new product category for Runco. The VW-100HD achieves full HD (1920 × 1080) imagery on a sprawling 100-inch screen, offering installation professionals new levels of versatility and convenience for environments where an ultra-large screen is required, but front projection is difficult or impossible to deliver. The VW-100HD is a completely self-contained in-wall projection system with a low-profile design that includes a rear assembly less than 32 inches in depth, with sloping side panels that enable the system to fit into the tightest spaces. As a result, integrators have tremendous installation flexibility and versatility.
