Sony have announced that their range of Wireless LCD’s and the 11 inch OLED will be available in the ‘UK very soon’.
The new range consists of the first OLED model to launch in Europe the XEL-1, the Bravia ZX1 wafer-thin screen ‘1080 Wireless’, the first picture frame TV with wireless HD connectivity, the Bravia EX1, and Sony’s first 200Hz MotionFlow Bravia range, the Z4500 series.
Sony’s new organic XEL-1 OLED is now available in the UK price yet to be confirmed. Boasting an incredible contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 but just 3 millimetres thick. See here the new design which is just the beginning of a whole new generation of products to come. The 11 inch screen is 1080p and has 2 HDMI inputs.

Where conventional screens have CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) backlighting, the BRAVIA ZX1 is illuminated from the sides by LED arrays. BRAVIA Edge LED Technology is a key part of the advanced engineering behind this remarkable screen.
