Sennheiser have released ‘the world first Hi-Fi quality wireless headphones’. The MX W1 wireless headphones are available for £300 and is using new ‘Kleer’ wireless technology that transmits at 2.37MB/s peak bit rate and is able to carry full CD-quality stereo audio.
Featuring two separate (left/right) earphones, a tiny transmitter and a carrying case with integrated charger, the MX W1 offers an uncompressed digital wireless connection and delivers true high-fidelity stereo sound.
The maximum data-rate on the system is 2.37Mb/s, and it’s said to be ten times more efficient than Bluetooth. Kleer’s 10x power advantage over Bluetooth has enabled Sennheiser to use the smallest rechargeable coin cell battery in the world, thus facilitating a compact, and ergonomic industrial design.
The MX W1 uses Sennheiser’s Twist-to-Fit system for a secure and comfortable fit. Ear adapters of various sizes are included for earpieces fit securely.The transmitter is fed from any device with a 3.5mm headphone output.
The new wireless Headphone from sennheiser are available at the end of August and will retail for £300.
