US-based Nuvision launches two new versions of its Deep Black 1080p LCD TVs.
The Nuvision 42LCM1 and 47LCM1, 42 and 47 inches respectively, are designed specially for the higher-end home theater aficionados. Availablility reflects the target market and is primarily limited to specialized home theater stores and custom installers and more particularly those that are CEDIA affiliated. These versions are totally thought out for custom installation, with an RS-232 Creston certified interface, IR outputs and pass-through.
The specs sent out by Nuvision are realistic with an impressive brightness levels at 500cd/m² for the 42-inch model and 600cd/m² for the 47-inch one. Contrast lies at 1200:1. The time response is 6ms which gaurantees good viewing conditions, placing itself in the higher range. Also common to both and very serious stuff is the an in-house NiCO image processing engine. Lastly, each video input connection memorizes its own tuning.
Announced prices are 3,199$ for the 42LCM1 and 4,199$ for the 47LCM1.
