ISE 2006 : JVC HD Product Chain for the "high-enders"
Gustav Werner Emrich, European Product Manager for JVC, talks about the high-end DLA-HD10K video projector that is now available in Europe, which we had shown for the first time last November (with an exclusive up-close look and explanation in our clip on the Home Theater Cruise). He presents the “HD Product Chain” from the CRT monitors, to LCD screens and including the new professional HD camera, GY-HD100U, that was on demonstration. As HD become more widespread, certain high-end, early adopters will certainly want to get this equipment for filming HD at home.
ISE 2006 : Taylor Made Systems for acoustical engineering
Jacques Fouks, founder and CEO, presents Taylor Made that is specialized in acoustical engineering solutions for both major professional projects as well as private Home Theater installations. He explains one of the many prestigious jobs they have worked on. They generally operate from the beginning blueprints but have even been called in to “repair” some installations that would just not work properly… See one of the very weird looking tools they use, a 3D acoustic probe.
ISE 2006 : HO Cinema new acoustical panel
Guy-Eric Holtzapffel, founder and CEO of HO Cinema, demonstrates the new decorative acoustic panels, Zenith, shown here for first time. See up-close the patented technology used not only to absorb high, but above all the low frequencies. Installation is simple, and the front panel outer face can be customized, even with a picture. This new system builds on the know-how of the patented Epidor System (see a demonstration in the MIPS 2004 clip). HO Cinema offers a full range of services as acoustical consultant for industrial projects as well as Home Theatre installations.
ISE 2006 : Russound multi-room audio and video
Jon J. Le Blanc, Director International Division, explains that Russound, created in 1967, is today the N°1 brand for multi-source and multi-zone distribution of both music and video. They are now present in 64 countries around the world, of which 29 in Europe. He emphasizes just how easy it is to use the products, underlying the WAF philosophy, particularly as Russound is managed by a woman! He presents the new media server than can store up to 2650 hours of music. Their products can manage 36 rooms with 6 different types of music.
ISE 2006 : 3LCD technology made clear
Stefan Hartmann, Senior Manager Display Division responsible at Epson for the 3LCD technologies and the presentations at the ISE, explains in easy to understand language with instructive graphics what 3LCD technology is all about. He highlights clearly the advantages of the three separate LCD panels that have inspired a prestigious list of manufacturers that use the 3LCD technology, making it the most widespread one used in the projection market today.
