See in Video: Panasonic 103" vs LG & Samsung 102"

At the ISE 2006 last week we had the pleasure to see up-very-close for the first time in Europe the Panasonic 103” Plasma, which was one of the highlights of the CES 2006 along with its “older”, “little” sisters, the 102” models from LG and Samsung. Here you will have a chance to see all these in our videos, including our exclusive interview in Brussels below with Fumi Taniguchi, Manager Overseas System Marketing Team.

But, then, let’s get this all in perspective. The biggest OK, today it’s the Panasonic 103” which makes 261,62 cm for us Europeans, but the difference is 1”, or 2.54 cm, which makes less than 1%, so is it really visible to the “normal” human eye at a distance of 5 or 7 meters ?…

In retrospect, until recently, one might have thought that “only” Samsung and LG would enter this real Japanese Sumo battle, as about a year ago Samsung hit first, and with its beautiful XXXXL 102” Plasma prototype, but then decided to offer the consumer just the “little baby” sister of 80”, today the biggest, or one of the biggest... we have to be careful, just where... available for “real” sales to “real” clients. Don’t forget in this battle of the Sumos the price tag for this “little baby” from Samsung is about 45.000 €. From our info, the XXXXL102” Full HD from LG is around 100,000 $, or € , whatever…
