The fabulous Lexicon family of products was all there, including the DVD player DVD RT-20, as well as the almost affordable RT-4 that we all dream of having in our homes.
As a preview of the whole new high-end series from Denon recently announced for the Christmas holidays, at the show we got a glimse of what is to come with the AVC-A1XV which is absolutely exceptional.
Arcam continues to roll out to the market its whole new product range. Above is the AVP700, fully equipped and affordable! It is going to be tough competition for equipment which is often 2 or 3 times the price.
Onkyo, which offers with a broad range of products for every budget, was showing off this year with its very high-end Home Theater amplifiers and DVD players. In our Special report take a look at the under the hood pictures of the new TX-NR 1000, the THX Ultra Network A/V receiver and the DV-SP1000E, the THX Universal DVD audio and super audio CD player. Boston Acoustics launched it range of middle and up-market products, with the the Audio Video receiver AVR7120 shown above. This just whets our appetite to have one in hand to test!Parasound was demonstrating its high-end equipment including this superb FM/AM RDS tuner, Audio Video Controller, and power amplifier. You will surely not want to miss the Zoom Image close-ups of all the rest on display in our complete photo report.
Linn had a marvelous stand with on show with their state-o-the-art, yet more affordable, Komponent serie. There was much more you can see with over 30 photos in our Special Report.
Kef presented the full range of the new Qi speakers, from the small bookcase model to the big, beautiful floorstand models. The finishing is really awe-inspiring for these top-of-the market speakers. On the Kef stand was also on show the KHT 6000, boasting ACE technology. Marvelous sound form this compact billiant "little sister" to the KHT 9000. Anthony Gallo has boosted its small Nucleus and Micro speakers with titanium, offering more power and an improved bass for only a slight increase in price. Meridian enveiled an in-wall amplified speaker offering either analog or numerical sound via a small device that you simply insert in the system. Soon to be launched by Oheocha is a series of super design numerical audio speaker systems. Wireless, its looks like pure WAF seduction !The Canadian manufacturer Paradigm was present with a whole new high-end series of speakers with increased power and acoustic quality. Their beautiful laquer finish was one of the crowd-movers at this year's CEDIA UK.
Velodyne, one the leading specialists for subwoofers, was demonstrating is technology prowess including this new ultra compact subwoofer above which offers a microphone to automatically calibrate it with acoustical correction factors to the size of your room.
Last, but far from least, was the Waterfall stand where visitors admired the very spectacular glass speakers which have made the world-wide reputation of this French manufacturer. Above is the central speaker of the series in brushed aluminum. There was on display a new series of in-wall speakers that you can see up-close in our Special Report photo section.
