The CEDIA UK, took place this year from June 27th to 30th in Birmingham. This Hi-Fi and Home Theater event is the showcase for High-end equipment and professional designers and installers and this edition was no exception with its share of new equipment, particularly in the area of Home Automation.
In this sector, the trend continues to be more discrete with the global integration of the full range of home audio-video equipment throughtout the home. In addition, as you will see, there were numerous new products presented for everyone’s budget.
In Part 1 we have regrouped the photos around the theme of the Display sector, including Plasma and LCD screens by Sim2, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Loewe, NAD (yes!), Sharp as well as video projectors from Infocus, Marantz and the new projection screen created by Screen Excellence.In Part 2 we will focus on Audio Video equipment and speakers, in the third part we will cover Remote Controls and all the other hot products we saw.

NAD was present this year with a new prototype LCD screen. You have read correctly, this high-end Hi-Fi manufacturer is launching into the television market.
New design and new LCD screens from Loewe, offering a variety of options in terms of finishings, support furniture, hard disks as well as numerical technologies for an innovative new approch as well.

The star from Marantz is the VP12-S4, equipped with the HD2 DarkChip 3 and a new video processor. A truly high-end projector boasting for the first time TWO HDMI input connectors.
Infocus presented its ScreenPlay 7210 in action, wth the HD2 DarkChip 3 which was just superb.
Specialized in acoustically transparent projection screens Screen Excellence presented this year its new model, which combines an extremely high quality screen, exceptional transparent sound specifications and very reasonable prices.
