They are announcing their 2005 product range, which consists of stereo amplifier, tape cassette playback, and SACD/DVD players.
Stereo amplifier A-H300 mkII is a 6 ohms, 45 Watts device that allows connections with two tape desks, turntable, tuner, CD, and Auxiliary, all this with balance and tone control as well as record selection, at the price of ₤480. AM/FM and DAB tuner T-H300 DAB mkII delivers a frequency range of 174-240 MHz DAB band III, 87.5-108MHz FM, and 522-1622 AM It can store 60 AM/FM and 10 DAB stations. It’s priced at ₤480 . Tape cassette playback R-H300 mkII is coming equipped with a smart loading, auto-reverse recording capacity, play back with Dolby B/C/HX noise reduction. It costs only ₤130. CD, CD-R/RW PD-H300 mkII comes with a 32 tracks memory, many play modes –shuffle,timer etc. Optical output but no coaxial connection, as on the UX-1 (see below). CD player/DABCR-H250 receiver is 25 Watts, 32 tracks memory, AM/FM, DAB Band III that can read CDs and CD-R/RW discs. It comes with post speaker terminal, subwoofer pre-out. Price: ₤229. SACD, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video player UX-1 is a progressive scan using Faroudja processing, and CD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW capable. It comes with DVI-D output, component, and coaxial digital audio outputs. CD and SACD player X-01 reads CD-R/RW. High precision disc drive, VRDS-NEO apparatus and a high quality DA converter, XLR, coaxial, optical inputs. SACD and DVD-Audio DV50s can also read CD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, and MP3 supports, progressive scan. It includes a very precise VCXO circuit to reduce jitter, and high quality DA converter.This series will form the core offer of TEAC in the UK for 2005. reasonably priced, they should find their share of the market.
