Clearaudio has released a new, magnetic, version of the tonearm on its popular Concept turntable, the Verify.
Clearaudio Verify tonearm Clearaudio Verify
The Verify’s arm tube is held suspended in a magnetic field, with just a thin tie cable beneath the arm to hold it down.
Clearaudio says this means it is able to provide “a friction-free bearing with no bearing chatter for a smooth and unfatiguing performance”.
The arm tube itself is made from carbon fibre, and there’s an adjustable anti-skating control on the base of the arm pillar.
The Verify comes with 1.2 metres of Clearaudio Directwire cable, with a mount supplied as standard. Or it can be used with Clearaudio’s VTA adjuster.
The Clearaudio Verify is available now for £640.
