The subscription-free TV service is now the only TV service to offer both ITV Player and BBC iPlayer. Viewers can now catch-up on all ITV1, ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4 programmes, for up to seven days after broadcast.

ITV Player will be added to the Freesat EPG where it will available on channel 903.

The initial launch will be in beta mode, and to access it you’ll need a Humax Freesat HD or Humax Freesat+ digital box connected to a satellite dish and to a broadband service of at least 2 Mbps. ITV Player should become available on other Freesat HD digital boxes and TVs over the next few months.

Robin Pembrooke, Managing Director, ITV Online and On Demand said: “Freesat is a key part of our platform strategy and another important step in our mission to give audiences access to our content when and where they choose to view it whilst improving the underlying technology and user experience across the board.”
