Rega has announced a replacement for its iconic P3-24 turntable with the RP3.

The new model includes a new tonearm and plinth, is compatible with the Elys 2 cartridge and comes in a choice of finishes.
The RB303 tonearm has been assembled by hand, and includes a precision main bearing as well as a low vibration, low noise motor assembly. It also has a new tube with reduced resonance and extreme stability.
The plinth is a super lightweight, rigid design intended to minimise resonance to avoid distortion.
The Rega RP3 will cost £475 or £549 with the Elys 2 cartridge included and will be available in titanium, white or grey finishes.
