The Apollo-R CD Player (£548) is the latest incarnation of the original Apollo CD player first launched in 2005 and promises improved performance because of technology from Rega’s DAC and high-end Isis CD player.
An aluminium case is designed to match the Rega DAC and Brio-R amp, and there are internal improvements to the analogue and digital outputs, as well as a new Wolfson WM8742 DAC and upgraded power supplies.
There’s a new user interface too as well as a remote control. The Apollo-R comes in a choice of black or satin silver finishes.

The RP6 turntable (£798 or £998 with the Rega Exact MM cartridge) includes a hand assembled RB303 tonearm and a compact TT-PSU power supply. It uses one of Rega’s ‘superlightweight’, rigid plinths, as well as a platter made from float glass and a 24v twin phase synchronous unit.
The RP6 is available in a choice of eight different high gloss piano finishes.
