It offers three-way conversion with coaxial inputs being converted to optical and analogue outputs, optical inputs to coaxial and analogue outputs, and analogue inputs to coaxial and optical outputs.
The latter version allows for high-quality conversion of vinyl audio to digital files for hard disc storage and playback.
The AU-D9 is available now for around £75.
Also on show was the CDL-165PRO, a wireless USB to HDMI converter. With a wireless USB dongle fitted to your computer it can send audio and video information to a receiver with an HDMI output. With the receiver plugged into an HDTV it can receive wireless transmission of video and audio files over a 20m range.
The CDL-165PRO will be available in March for £250.
