German speaker manufacturer Teufel has announced two new Columa home cinema speaker systems.

The Columa 300 and Columa 300R series both include floorstanding column speakers with aluminium cabinets. They replace the company’s Concept S and Concept S+R models, and are available in a variety of configurations.
The Columa 300 comes in three varieties and includes four column speakers each with a 19mm mesh dome tweeter and two 70mm mid/bass drivers. A centre channel and 180-watt active subwoofer complete the package.
The ‘S’ set uses four short columns, which can be freestanding or wall-mounted, the ‘L’ version uses four longer freestanding columns and the ‘M’ set mixes them up with the long columns for the front left and right speakers, and the shorter ones for the rears.
The Columa 300R range is Teufel’s first to feature a 5×50-watt AV receiver built into the subwoofer. It includes an external control panel, seven inputs, Dolby/DTS decoder and AM/FM tuner. It comes S, L and M configurations as the Columa 300.
