Sennheiser Adidas Sports series earphones

3 mai 2010

A new range of sports earphones designed by Sennheiser and Adidas is now on sale.

All are designed to be ‘sport-proof’ so they won’t come loose or fall out during training and they have an in-line volume control attached to the sturdy Kevlar-reinforced cable. The earphone pads are covered in a material that repels moisture – not only sweat, but also rain and snow, and can be rinsed off after use. Each of the models comes with a cable extension and carry pouch as standard.

Sennheiser PMX 680

Both the CX 680 and MX 680 models feature Sennheiser’s EarFin holding system to help them grip the ear securely and comfortably, the OMX 680 has a flexible over-ear clip system and the PMX 680 (pictured) features an ergonomically designed neck band with a reflective strip for night training.

Champion sprinter Tyson Gay expressed his preference for the PMX 680: “The really clear treble and punchy bass gives the sound a lot of energy. My favourite is the PMX 680. They have a really useful neckband that ensures the headphones stay in place even when I am running or during my stretching exercises.”

The Sennheiser-Adidas Sports Series is on sale now at these prices:

  • MX 680 In-Ear: £34.95
  • OMX 680 Ear-Hook: £42.95
  • PMX 680 Back-band: £44.95
  • CX 680 Ear-Canal: £59.95
