Mains conditioning specialist ISOL-8 has announced its latest DC blocking device, the PowerLine Axis.
It can be used with up to five separate components, and is designed to reduce the potential for mechanical hum by eliminating DC voltage from the mains, so delivering a symmetrical AC sine wave, in theory. Each of the five 13-amp sockets is encased in an alloy and steel enclosure, with silver-plated copper wiring with PTFE insulation used throughout.
Each of the power outlets is covered to keep out dust and the 6mm cover plate is made from anodised milled aluminium.
The ISOL-8 PowerLine Axis is available now for £500 and comes with a five-year guarantee.
