Panasonic has announced four new models for its 2010 line-up of Blu-ray home cinema systems in the shape of the SC-BT735 (pictured, £700), SC-BT330 (£500), SC-BT230 (£450) and SC-BT222 (£400).
The three more expensive models have ‘wireless-ready’ rear speakers, though they need the optional SH-FX71 wireless kit to get hooked up for wireless transmission. Each of these three also features VieraCast web access, BD-Live, DLNA capability and they’re wireless LAN ready too (which basically means they’ll need the optional DY-WL10 wireless LAN adapter to take advantage of wireless internet connectivity).

All four models come with a universal iPod/iPhone dock, so they can play back music stored on Apple devices. There’s also the PHL Reference Chroma processor Plus video processing and decoding of all the usual high-definition audio formats.
The SC-BT330, SC-BT230 and SC-BT222 all have centre speakers fitted with Panny’s latest bamboo cone drivers for clearer dialogue in multichannel soundtracks and the BT735 and BT330 have Kelton subwoofers designed to deliver deeper bass.
All models should be available by autumn 2010.
