DF Solutions has announced that its professionally-installed Base media server is now enabled for Blu Ray disc storage, playback and multi-room distribution.
The Base Media Server offers 1TB of internal storage but can be linked to additional LAN-based NAS devices on a home network for further expansion. Base and the Link clients can be used as a Blu Ray disc player directly, or it can integrate HD movies on a PC into its main library.
Another new feature is Base’s compatibility with the latest “Teamviewer” software, which allows it to be accessed remotely over the internet for real-time technical support, updating and maintenance. Other new features include “Party Mode” which synchronises all zones to provide audio playback at the same time and new parental controls. Dealers can receive full training in all the new features at monthly DF Solutions training courses held at AWE’s HQ.
