Current Audio in-ceiling speakers now more flexible

Current Audio has introduced a new technology to makes its pivoting in-ceiling speakers more flexible.

The new FastLoc system is designed for Current Audio’s FIT (focused image technology) range of in-ceiling pivoting woofer/tweeter loudspeakers and promises providing greater flexibility and ease-of-use thanks to its easy-fit grille.

The FastLoc grille can be twisted out in about ten seconds allowing installer and owners to adjust the directional woofers and tweeters almost as easily as changing the angle of a conventional speaker cabinet.

Each of the four 6.5in models in Current Audio’s in-ceiling range featuring FIT offer 50 degrees of woofer adjustability and a ‘diffraction-less’ pivoting tweeter. They also have the ‘installation handle’ counter-sunk mounting screws, and a 3DP locking mechanism that allows the woofer baffle to be locked in place after finding the desired setting.

Jonathan Pengilley, of Current Audio’s UK distributor Habitech said: “Current Audio offer the best available in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeaker solutions – for consumers and custom installers. The FIT range of in-ceiling speakers is cutting-edge, with FastLoc the icing on a very, very clever cake, which delivers in spades.”

Current Audio’s FIT range of speakers with FastLoc is available now.
