Computer manufacturer Asus has announced an updated version of its O!Play media player, the O!Play Air HDP-R3.
The new model offers audio, HD video and still photo streaming over the air from PC, card reader or NAS server and supports MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1 and RMVB formats for Full HD 1080p streaming around the home.
The update comes in the form of 802.11n Wi-Fi support and new memory slots and an HDMI socket as well as a dedicated shuffle button on its remote control. It also has optical digial output and a USB port.
It should be with us later this month, and while price is yet to be announced, it’s going for $130 in the States.
