Imerge MS1 updates

4 novembre 2009

Cambridge-based home server manufacturer Imerge has announced new updates to its high-end MS1 media server adding even more functionality to its already bulging spec list.

The updates include a new control interface for Apple iPhone or Touch, allowing you to control the system anywhere in the house using your trusty handheld.

The system features full album and movie artwork support for up to 16 zones and even includes a useful ‘left-handed’ mode. Unlike similar control apps from the likes of Sonos available via the App Store however, you’ll need to pay for it – £18.
There’s also an updated data back-up system with the XiVASafe hard disk storage components which now offer RAID 6 redundancy and enterprise grade reliability and robustness, as well as a new parental control facility.

The Imerge MS1 updates are available for users to download now.
