Italian cable manufacturer G&BL plans to launch its 4000-strong range in the UK in early November.
With 30 years in the business, the Venice-based company comes with an extensive pedigree, and claims that it will provide products to meet all budgets across the hi-fi and AV board, including the Coverized series of Italian designer iPod cases, Venice Glass equipment racks and an extremely wide range of digital and analogue connection cables.
G&BL’s latest range of HDMI cables includes HDMI 1.4 models, as well as rotating plugs that can turn through 180 degrees for a flush fit, as well as flat or tube-shaped cables in lengths up to 15 metres in a variety of colours.
The family-run business was started in Venice in 1979 by engineer Gianluigi Bano, to provide cabling solutions for the construction industry, but his interest in hi-fi led him to source cables for his own system, and later shift the emphasis of the company.
As well as cables, connectors and switching units, G&BL also offers iPod accessories, TV wall brackets, computer peripherals, headphones and cleaning products as well as cases for laptops, cameras and portable audio players.
