Arcam irDock

26 octobre 2009

Arcam has revealed the latest update to its ‘audiophile’ iPod dock, promising improved sound quality and a better remote.

Sporting a similar cast-alloy style to the previous version, the new IrDock promises to deliver ‘superb sonic results’ whether its sending digital music to your hi-fi or processing photos and video for your TV.

The irDock will work with any hi-fi system that has an audio input and can handle both iPods and iPhones. It will charge them while it plays too, cutting back on the power once the battery limit has been reached.

Sound quality has been upped, with protection from less than pure power sources, enhanced RF suppression and a supplied handset that controls any Pod or iPhone.

The irDock goes on sale in November for £150.
