Sennheiser has announced a design competition as part of its bid to big up its new HD 400 headphone range.
The company is offering 45 winners the chance to create a unique, one-off set of HD 418 headphones emblazoned with the winner’s own design.
The competition is open to anyone – design professionals and hi-fi buffs alike, and 15 winners will be chosen at the end of each month in September, October and November 2009.
Anyone with design experience can create their own design and upload it at the Sennheiser site in whatever format they choose, or for absolute beginners Sennheiser has made a design programme available that anyone can use.
