French hi-fi brand Micromega is on its way back to the UK with a new two-channel range.
The line-up includes 11 new models ranging from £698 for an FM radio tuner to £1,998 for its top-of-the-line power amp. Also on offer will be three CD players, three integrated stereo amps, a stereo preamp, a surround preamp and a brace of stereo power amps.
The Paris-based firm began in the 1980s, launching an early top-loading CD player in 1987, with a hi-fi CD player featuring separate transport and DAC in 1988.
The company is now under new management having been bought by one-time motorcycling champion Didier Hamdi, who has retained Daniel Schar, the firm’s founder, as head of R&D.
