Among Sony’s huge stand at IFA this year was the new Sony Bravia S57 19 inch screen.
This new trendy white LCD only weighs 5.4 kg and comes with a detachable carrying handle and stand.
If you feel the need you can even you can take it from room to room, hang it on the wall or escape to another room to watch your favourite TV programmes without interruptions when there’s something else on the main set.
The new Bravia S57 series has an integrated, illuminated digital clock display which means there’s no need for an extra clock in your kitchen or bedroom. The series also comes with handy in-built digital tuners so you can receive digital channels without the need for a set-top box.

The Bravia S57 series has a number of connections a USB 2.0 port and 2 HDMI ports.
You can even use the screen as a picture frame with a digital camera or USB key inserted into the USB port. Select Photo Mode and the Bravia S57 series screen will be optimised automatically to the best image settings so you can show pictures at full screen or view slide-shows to share memories with your friends.
The S57 uses Bravia Engine 2 and has a Dynamic Contrast ratio of up to 8.000:1, and can be used for Blu-ray movies and gaming in any room.
