KEF has introduced the new Ci200.3 Custom Installation speaker, available as either a square or round fitting and incorporating KEF’s Uni-Q® driver array technology – thus providing the owner’s room with an expansive soundscape, excellent bass extension and a perfectly created sound stage.
Deciding whether to place the Ci200.3QS and Ci200.3QR in the walls or ceiling is not a problem thanks to KEF’s simple and ingenious screw down clamping – and the speakers are particularly easy and quick to install. They are also designed with moisture-resistant fixings, allowing placement in the harshest of environments such as bathrooms. Also, the new slender bezel and contemporary grille design of the Ci200.3 combine to make the finished installation less intrusive than its predecessors.
The Uni-Q array features a new 25 mm (1”) aluminium dome high frequency unit mounted coincidently into a 200 mm (8”) polypropylene bass/mid range unit. An innovative crossover design provides the Ci200.3 models with superb off-axis dispersion characteristics.
The Ci Series Ci200.3QS and Ci200.3QR are best suited where high quality music and speech reinforcement applications require hi-fi performance. They can be ideally placed in locations such as Multi Room systems, Home Cinema systems, Lounges, Bars, Boutiques, Boardrooms and Offices, Airports, Convention Centres, Hotels, Live Theatre/Concert Hall fill-in, Houses of Worship and Sports Arenas.
Like all KEF Ci in-wall products, the bezel and grille can be painted to match the interior décor.
