KEF has announced the introduction of a new addition to its acclaimed Ci Series, the Ci 160.2FRLT, an affordable flush-mount Custom Installation speaker with a line volt transformer. It is suitable for use with either 70 Volt or 100 Volt distribution systems and has multiple output taps to be set during installation; these are 2, 4, 8, 12, and 20 Watts.
The Ci 160.2FRLT employs a 160 mm full range drive unit. The driver is mounted into a moulded ABS baffle and with quick installation provided by KEF’s simple and ingenious screw down clamping system the moisture-resistant fixings allows placement even in the harshest environments such as under eaves. The bezel and grille can be painted to specification or covered by fabric to suit the style of the room. The speaker combines 89dB sensitivity, with a frequency response (± 3dB) of 60Hz – 16kHz.
The Ci 160.2FRLT is best suited for music and speech reinforcement applications requiring hi-fi performance such as Retail areas, Lounges, Bars, Boutiques, Boardrooms and Offices, Airports, Convention Centres, Hotels, Live Theatre/Concert Halls, Places of Worship and Sports Arenas.
