Following the success of last year’s Expo, CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has announced that over 60% of floor space at the industry event of the year, CEDIA Expo 2009, is already taken.
The event, taking place at ExCeL London from 22nd to 25th June 2009 (training: 22nd to 25th June; exhibition: 23rd to 25th June), remains the only annual trade event in the UK, dedicated to the design, installation and integration of home electronic systems. A number of bigger stands will be unveiled at this year’s Expo, including those from Habitech, Kaleidescape and Spectral GB. In addition, established participants including AWE Europe, BMB Electronics, CSE, Crestron, Dynalite, KEF and JVC have all signed up for the 2009 event.
“During these challenging economic times it is a proven fact, that exhibiting is an important way of ensuring businesses ride out the recession and that their businesses remain front of mind for clients, especially when conditions begin to improve” says CEDIA Expo Show Manager, Matt Nimmons. “With a presence at CEDIA Expo 2009, companies can be sure that they are promoting their business as stable and secure, and will emerge from the downturn stronger as a result. Six months out from the event, CEDIA is delighted to report that the industry is solidly behind the 2009 show”.
Mary Whitlock, CEDIA Sales, comments; “We are delighted to see the excitement building up around CEDIA Expo 2009. A number of big names have already signed up for what is shaping up to be another valuable experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. Manufacturers and distributors should never underestimate the value of getting face to face with both existing and potential customers – CEDIA Expo is the perfect way to do this. We’re also launching a host of new initiatives that will add value to the show, and make attendance an even more productive experience for everyone”.
