ISE, Amsterdam RAI exhibition centre, 30 January – 1 February 2007 – On Stand C70 in Hall 2, Sony will be demonstrating the breadth and depth of its professional AV IT solutions, including its digital signage and retail solutions; High Definition (HD) cameras; IP monitoring and videoconferencing designs; and projection and public display technology. By giving insights into the delivery of its end-to-end solutions throughout the event, Sony will share its vision as a technology partner for organisations around the world.
“At Sony we like to work closely with our customers to understand their business needs before our team of experts design the most effective, innovative and integrated AV IT solution.” Said Naomi Climer, Vice-President of Sony Europe. “ISE is a great opportunity for us to meet partners and visitors from a wide range of industries and regions to help them get the best from our advanced AV IT systems.”
Sony is a platinum sponsor and exhibitor at Integrated Systems Europe, one of Europe’s major integrated technology events.
Create sharing.vision
Visitors to the stand will see how Sony’s products and services have delivered to venues around the world a new media experience using the most advanced AV IT solutions to attract, entertain and influence consumers. Through the convergence of digitised content, flat panel displays and networked infrastructures, Sony is helping hi-tech venues, like the new Arsenal Emirates Stadium, bring quality, tailored messages to its audiences.
At the heart of this is Sony’s Ziris™ family of digital signage solutions that allows users to prepare, schedule and distribute content to remote networked players, manage displays and devices and play customised content on Sony LCD Plasma displays and projectors.
Since becoming widely available in EMEA and North America on December 1st 2006, the stand will also feature Sony’s complete solution for collaborative editing, HDXchange, which enables fast, flexible and efficient workflow as part of its networked storage and content management system.
Integrate sharing.vision
Following the launch of Sony’s unique Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture (DEPA) technology platform in November 2006, the Sony stand will reveal how companies can deploy high performance IP monitoring networks without overloading existing IT infrastructures.
Part of the IPELA Network Video Monitoring range, the DEPA platform builds on Sony’s pre-existing in-camera intelligence that can detect motion and abandoned or removed objects. It is made up of two key components: intelligent DEPA enabled ‘multi-codec’ cameras and Sony’s sophisticated software application, RealShot Manager.
“At ISE, we are pleased to announce that our extensive range of IP cameras can now be integrated with a number of third-party management software providers, also known as Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).” Said Simon Nash, European Product Manager of Sony Network Video Monitoring. “This development greatly increases the number of users and types of installations that can now select the superior performance of Sony cameras for their security and surveillance applications.”
Also part of the IPELA family of networked solutions, Sony’s portfolio of IPELA videoconferencing products will be on display. From the PCS-TL30P, Sony’s personal desktop videoconferencing system, to the range of group conference systems, Sony will explain how different industries and organisations are taking advantage of the continuing improvement of the price/performance ratio for VC products.
The team will also present its PCS-HG90 HD videoconferencing solution that is suitable for applications that require real-time, low delay, two-way communication from remote locations. From hospital surgeons viewing live operating procedures remotely or educational institutions conducting virtual lectures and training seminars, to organisations that require fast review of materials, such as manufacturing, advertising and design agencies, the technology can transmit high-resolution data and receive feedback immediately.
Communicate sharing.vision
Visitors to the stand will also be invited to experience the unique visual quality of Sony’s SXRD 4K digital technology in the large venue projection area. In addition, they can see the breadth of Sony’s home cinema and front projection projectors, as well as its latest public display solutions.
The latest Sony front projection range includes sophisticated installation projectors that can be mounted in one location, all-purpose models that are ideal for a variety of environments, wireless products and ultra compact ‘go anywhere’ projectors weighing less than 2 kilos.
“At ISE 2007, Sony’s range of professional AV IT solutions share a common vision: to inspire improved business communication through knowledge, innovation and collaboration.” Added Naomi Climer, Vice-President of Sony Europe. “In our third year of sponsoring this major event, we look forward to helping even more organisations achieve better business performance from integrated and innovative AV IT solutions.”
