This years Sound and Vision Bristol Show saw PMC demonstarting the first public viewing of the PB1i Speakers.
For those that wondered up to to the second floor you may have wanted to see PMC’S new PB1i floorstanders but found the room bulging with people. Every time I went to see PMC, both rooms were extremely popular with people not only wanting to see and hear the PB1i but also get a demo on the Bryston new SST range.
The PB1i is intended to fit between the OB1i and the rather large EB1i. As you entered the room the new speakers instantly hit you not with just there size(just over 108cm tall) but there sonic presence.
The PB1i sell for £5500 a pair and have newly developed 6 inch bass driver, three inch soft dome mid-range and PMC/SEAS i series tweeter. They also go all the way down to 24Hz due to PMC Advanced Transmission Line design.
