Arcam are well known for their great sounding stereo and AV components so it’s no surprise that 2 new Multi-Zone Amplifiers the MZ8 and MZ12 have been released.
So you can now have Arcam music all around your house using either the 8 channel, the MZ8 or the 12 channel the MZ12. Both Multi-Zone Amps offer 65wpc and can be hidden away in an equipment rack.
The MZ8 and MZ12 have a slave mode to it’s channel 1 reducing patch cabling, RS232 and 12v is also on-board. Massive heat-sinking and a temperature controlled forced air cooling system ensure the MZ8 and MZ12 run at low ambient temperatures, dispersing less heat into cabinets and aiding long term reliability. Oversized toroid based power supplies allow each amplifier channel to deliver effortless power with a low noise topology improving transient response. For the environmentalist among you the Multi-Zone Amps only run on 1 watt when on standby.
Projected prices are set to be around £1600 for the MZ8 and the MZ12 £2000 inc VAT.
