CES 2009 starts this week and we can expected plenty of new products and innovations. Starting on January 8th until the 11th 2009. The CES show is the one of the biggest consumer electronic trade shows.
The International CES features 2,700 exhibitors spanning 30 product categories from markets including audio, digital content creation and distribution, digital imaging, embedded technology, gaming (digital entertainment), high-performance audio & home theater, video, home networking, in-vehicle technology and wireless.

We are expecting news from JVC, who have already won an award for the environmental greener displays but we hear that a new 32" prototype will be showcased weighing only 5kg! At 7mm thick, 1080p resolution and with back lighting they have managed to use less mercury that is used in JVC’s current designs.
Samsung showcased some new 9mm screens at last years many Expos but this year they are to showcase a 6.5mm screen. Samsung press conference will be on Wednesday and CineNow will be there covering the event. We also expect more OLED screens from them so stay tuned.
Also expect lot’s more on 3D technology with many companies showing what there panels are capable of.
