Leading projector manufacture Infocus have released the X9 a HD Projetor for £499!
The Infocus X9 has native 16:9 widescreen a 2500:1 contrast ratio 720p and has 1800 lumens. Not bad for an entry level projector. Its impressive specification, tuned by InFocus to provide rich colour, high brightness, wide contrast and natural motion, means that the X9 will transform films, games and HD satellite broadcasts into spectacular big screen entertainment, even in smaller rooms. Its short throw ratio (1.55 -1.7 Distance/Width) enables stunning pictures ranging from 0.69m to an astonishing 9.13m (diagonal) from between 1m and 12m from a screen or wall.
A basic set up is offered as you would expect from an low priced projector by offering focus and zoom rings that will tune the picture in seconds with elevation and level optimised in similar order by adjustable feet.
The X9 even has an amble selection of inputs including the latest HDMI 1.3 with DeepColor support, which can display up to 1.07 billion colours for a perfectly smooth, crystal-clear picture. Together with Component, S-Video, Composite, VGA in/out and RS232, the X9’s connectivity provides the opportunity of stellar picture performance from DVD, PCs, games consoles and HD satellite receivers.
